The Mid-Summer Ride will start at the Metro Market at Hwy 67 and E. Wisconsin Av in Oconomowoc, N48 W36903 E. Wisconsin Ave. There are three gas stations within a mile of the start point (one is a half mile away) for those who may want to top off before the ride. 

Restrooms inside the Metro Market.  The first leg of the ride is 27 miles taking approximately 1hr.  We wind through a section of Lake Country before motoring through the twisty, hilly backroads of the Kettle Moraine State Forest.  

Rest stop at the McDonald’s on Hwy 83 in Mukwonago.  If we have a large number of cars and parking at McDonald’s is crowded, we can pull into the Metro Market just across the road.

Second leg is 23 miles taking approximately 45 minutes on smooth, hilly, twisty backroads of the Southern Kettle Moraine ending at Gus’s Drive In in East Troy.  Gus’s hosts a car show every Saturday evening with some of the cars arriving around 3:30pm.  We will be the Pre-Show, arriving ahead of that.  There are several gas stations in East Troy, at least two offer non-ethanol fuel.
